Tacrolimus 0.1% ointment 30g for atopic dermatitis (eczema).
Crolimus (0.1%) 30g Ointment contains tacrolimus, a calcineurin inhibitor for atopic dermatitis (eczema). Used when corticosteroids are not suitable or for maintenance. Apply thinly; avoid sun exposure on treated areas.
Purpose
Short-term and intermittent long-term treatment of moderate to severe atopic dermatitis in adults when other treatments are not suitable.
Ingredients
Tacrolimus 0.1% w/w.
Warnings
Prescription only. Avoid sun exposure and tanning on treated skin. Not for use in immunocompromised patients or with occlusive dressings unless directed. Report skin infections.
Side Effects
Burning, itching, redness at application site. Skin infections, flu-like symptoms. Avoid sun; may increase skin cancer risk with long-term use. Report persistent irritation or rash.
Storage Instructions
Store below 25°C. Keep tube tightly closed. Do not refrigerate after opening. Keep out of reach of children.
