Daplozmet Xr 5/500mg is dapagliflozin 5mg and metformin extended-release 500mg for type 2 diabetes. Take once daily with evening meal. Pack of 14 tablets.

Purpose

Treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus as an adjunct to diet and exercise.

Ingredients

Dapagliflozin 5mg and Metformin hydrochloride (extended-release) 500mg per tablet.

Warnings

Contraindicated in severe renal impairment, diabetic ketoacidosis. Not for type 1 diabetes. Monitor renal function.

Side Effects

Nausea, diarrhea, urinary tract infections, genital mycotic infections. Rare: lactic acidosis, ketoacidosis.
