Dapagliflozin 5mg for type 2 diabetes.
Dapxi 5mg contains dapagliflozin, an SGLT2 inhibitor that increases urinary glucose excretion. Used for type 2 diabetes, heart failure, and chronic kidney disease as prescribed. Take once daily in the morning. Pack of tablets.
Purpose
Treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus; heart failure and chronic kidney disease as approved.
Ingredients
Dapagliflozin (as propanediol monohydrate) 5mg per tablet.
Warnings
Contraindicated in severe renal impairment, diabetic ketoacidosis. Not for type 1 diabetes. Risk of ketoacidosis. Maintain good hygiene.
Side Effects
Urinary tract infections, genital mycotic infections, polyuria. Rare: ketoacidosis, Fournier gangrene. Report signs of infection.
