Diaberyl Tablets 4 mg
Glimepiride 4mg tablets for type 2 diabetes.
Diaberyl Tablets 4 mg contain glimepiride 4mg (sulfonylurea) for type 2 diabetes. Take as directed; usually once daily with breakfast. Do not skip meals; risk of hypoglycaemia. Prescription only.
Purpose
Treatment of type 2 diabetes when prescribed, as an adjunct to diet and exercise.
Ingredients
Glimepiride 4mg per tablet.
Warnings
Prescription only. Risk of hypoglycaemia; do not skip meals. Avoid alcohol. Report symptoms of low blood sugar. Not for use in type 1 diabetes or diabetic ketoacidosis.
Side Effects
Hypoglycaemia, weight gain, nausea. Report symptoms of low blood sugar (sweating, tremor, confusion).
Storage Instructions
Store below 25°C in a dry place. Keep in original pack; protect from moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
