Diabetron Cr 90 mg Tab
Gliclazide 90mg controlled-release tablets for type 2 diabetes.
Diabetron Cr 90mg contains gliclazide in controlled-release formulation, a sulphonylurea that stimulates insulin release for type 2 diabetes. The 90mg CR strength is for once-daily dosing. Take with breakfast; do not crush or chew.
Purpose
Treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus as adjunct to diet and exercise when sulphonylurea is appropriate.
Ingredients
Gliclazide 90mg (controlled-release) per tablet.
Warnings
Risk of hypoglycaemia; avoid alcohol. Not for type 1 diabetes. Contraindicated in severe renal impairment. Report signs of low blood sugar.
Side Effects
Hypoglycaemia, nausea, diarrhoea, rash. Report symptoms of low blood sugar (sweating, tremor, confusion).
Storage Instructions
Store below 25°C in a dry place. Keep in original pack; protect from moisture.
