Digestine is a gastroprokinetic medication containing metoclopramide resinate. It works by blocking dopamine receptors in the brain and increasing the motility of the upper gastrointestinal tract. This helps speed up stomach emptying into the intestines, providing relief from symptoms like nausea, vomiting, and various forms of indigestion.
Purpose
Treatment of symptomatic gastroesophageal reflux, nausea, vomiting, and gastric stasis.
Ingredients
Metoclopramide resinate equivalent to 40mg metoclopramide.
Warnings
Avoid alcohol as it increases drowsiness. Consult a doctor if you have a history of seizures or Parkinson's disease.
