Dovomit contains a proton pump inhibitor (omeprazole or equivalent) 10mg for reducing stomach acid. It is used for GERD, heartburn, and acid-related symptoms.

Purpose

Short-term treatment of acid reflux, heartburn, and acid-related dyspepsia.

Warnings

Side Effects

Headache, abdominal pain, diarrhoea, nausea. Rare: fractures, hypomagnesaemia with long-term use.
