Duricef (500mg) 12 Capsules contains cefadroxil 500mg, a cephalosporin antibiotic for bacterial infections. Take as directed; complete the full course. May be taken with or without food.
Purpose
Treatment of bacterial infections (e.g. urinary tract, skin, throat) when susceptible organisms are identified or presumed.
Ingredients
Cefadroxil (as monohydrate) 500mg per capsule; 12 capsules.
Warnings
Prescription only. Do not use if allergic to cephalosporins or penicillins. Complete full course. Report severe diarrhoea or rash.
Side Effects
Diarrhoea, nausea, rash. Rare: allergic reactions, pseudomembranous colitis. Report severe diarrhoea or rash.
