Dexlansoprazole 60mg capsules for 24-hour relief from acid reflux and GERD.
Dxl 60mg contains dexlansoprazole, a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) with a unique dual delayed-release formulation. It releases the medication at two different times to provide 24-hour acid suppression. It is used to treat heartburn associated with GERD and to heal erosive esophagitis by significantly reducing gastric acid production.
Purpose
Treatment of heartburn associated with symptomatic non-erosive GERD and healing of erosive esophagitis.

Warnings
Long-term use may increase risk of bone fractures and vitamin B12 deficiency. Report persistent diarrhea.
Side Effects
Diarrhea, abdominal pain, nausea, upper respiratory tract infection, and vomiting.
