Vitamin D 5mg/1ml injection 1 ampoule.
Ed 3 (5mg/1Ml) 1 Ampoule Injection contains vitamin D (cholecalciferol) or similar in injectable form for treatment of severe deficiency. For intramuscular or as directed use only. Administer only as directed by a healthcare professional.
Purpose
Treatment of vitamin D deficiency when oral supplementation is inadequate or not possible.
Ingredients
Cholecalciferol (vitamin D3) or equivalent 5mg (200,000 IU) per 1ml ampoule; as per pack.
Warnings
For use under medical supervision. Caution in hypercalcaemia and renal impairment. Do not exceed prescribed dose.
Side Effects
Generally well-tolerated. Excessive doses may cause hypercalcaemia. Report weakness, confusion, or bone pain.
Storage Instructions
Store as per pack (protect from light). Do not freeze. Use within period after opening.
