Levonorgestrel and ethinyl estradiol oral contraceptive.
Emsyn Lee 25+5mg is a combination oral contraceptive containing levonorgestrel (progestin) and ethinyl estradiol (estrogen). It prevents pregnancy by suppressing ovulation and altering cervical mucus. Take one tablet daily at the same time, following the blister pack order. Pack of 14 tablets (or 21 active + 7 inactive as per pack).
Purpose
Oral contraception to prevent pregnancy in women of reproductive potential.
Ingredients
Levonorgestrel and Ethinyl estradiol; strengths as per pack (e.g. 0.25mg/0.05mg or equivalent).
Warnings
Contraindicated in smokers over 35, history of blood clots, breast cancer, liver disease. Do not smoke while using. Missing pills may reduce efficacy; follow pack instructions.
Side Effects
Irregular bleeding, nausea, headache, weight gain, breast tenderness. Risk of blood clots, stroke, heart attack in smokers and high-risk women.

Store below 25C in a dry place. Protect from moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
