Epoetin alfa 4000 IU/ml injection 1 vial for anaemia (CKD/chemotherapy).
Epiao (4000IU/Ml) 1 Vial Injections contain epoetin alfa (recombinant human erythropoietin) 4000 IU/ml for treatment of anaemia in chronic kidney disease or chemotherapy-induced anaemia. For use by healthcare professionals or as directed. Administer by subcutaneous or IV injection.
Purpose
Treatment of anaemia associated with chronic kidney disease; treatment of chemotherapy-induced anaemia when prescribed.
Ingredients
Epoetin alfa (recombinant human erythropoietin) 4000 IU per ml; 1 vial.
Warnings
Prescription only. Risk of thromboembolism and hypertension. Monitor blood pressure and haemoglobin. Do not exceed target haemoglobin. Report chest pain or leg swelling.
Side Effects
Hypertension, headache, thromboembolic events, injection site reactions. Report chest pain, leg swelling, or severe headache.
Storage Instructions
Store in refrigerator (2–8°C). Do not freeze. Protect from light. Use within period stated after opening. Keep out of reach of children.
