Ertugliflozin and sitagliptin 5/100mg for type 2 diabetes.
Ertahil Sit 5/100mg combines ertugliflozin (SGLT2 inhibitor) and sitagliptin (DPP-4 inhibitor) for type 2 diabetes. Used when dual therapy with complementary mechanisms is needed. Take as directed; swallow whole.
Purpose
Treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus as adjunct to diet and exercise when dual therapy is appropriate.
Ingredients
Ertugliflozin 5mg and sitagliptin 100mg per tablet.
Warnings
Contraindicated in severe renal impairment and diabetic ketoacidosis. Not for type 1 diabetes. Risk of genital and urinary infections.
Side Effects
Urinary tract infections, genital mycotic infections, nausea, headache. Rare: ketoacidosis, pancreatitis. Report severe abdominal pain.
