Rilpivirine 15mg tablets for HIV-1 infection.
Ertuvia (15mg) contains rilpivirine, a non-nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor (NNRTI) for HIV-1 infection. It is used as part of antiretroviral therapy in combination with other agents. Take once daily with a meal for optimal absorption.
Purpose
Treatment of HIV-1 infection in combination with other antiretroviral agents as determined by a specialist.
Ingredients
Rilpivirine 15mg per tablet (or equivalent as per pack).
Warnings
Prescription only. Not a cure for HIV. Must be taken with a meal. Do not use with proton pump inhibitors. Report signs of infection or liver problems.
Side Effects
Rash, dizziness, headache, insomnia, depression. Rare: hepatotoxicity, severe skin reactions. Report rash, mood changes, or unexplained fatigue.
