Esomeprazole 10mg tablets for acid reflux and peptic ulcer.
Esolex 10mg contains esomeprazole, a proton pump inhibitor that reduces stomach acid production. It is used for acid reflux (GERD), heartburn, peptic ulcers, and H. pylori eradication. The 10mg strength is for maintenance or mild symptoms. Take before a meal.
Purpose
Treatment of gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GERD), peptic ulcer disease, and as part of H. pylori eradication when prescribed.
Ingredients
Esomeprazole 10mg (as magnesium or equivalent) per tablet.
Warnings
Not for immediate relief of heartburn. Long-term use at high dose may increase fracture risk. Report persistent diarrhoea or signs of hypomagnesaemia.
Side Effects
Headache, diarrhoea, abdominal pain, nausea. Long-term use may be associated with hypomagnesaemia; report muscle cramps or irregular heartbeat.
Storage Instructions
Store below 25°C in a dry place. Keep in original pack; protect from moisture.
