Esomeprazole 40mg capsules for acid reflux, GERD, and peptic ulcers.
Esomega 40mg contains esomeprazole magnesium, a proton pump inhibitor (PPI). It blocks the gastric proton pump, reducing stomach acid production. Esomega is used for GERD, erosive esophagitis, peptic ulcers, Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, and acid-related dyspepsia. Manufactured by Ferozsons; supplied as gastro-resistant capsules.
Purpose
Treatment of GERD, erosive esophagitis, peptic ulcer disease, and conditions requiring acid suppression.
Ingredients
Esomeprazole (as magnesium) 40mg per capsule.
Warnings
Swallow capsules whole. Long-term PPI use may increase risk of fractures and low magnesium; report muscle cramps or irregular heartbeat.
Side Effects
Headache, nausea, diarrhea, abdominal pain. Long-term use may be associated with fracture risk and hypomagnesemia.
Storage Instructions
Store below 25°C in a dry place. Keep in original blister until use.
