Esomeprazole 20mg and naproxen 500mg for pain with gastric protection.
Espra X 500/20mg Tab combines esomeprazole (PPI) 20mg and naproxen 500mg for pain and inflammation with gastric protection (e.g. arthritis in at-risk patients). Take as directed; use for shortest duration necessary.
Purpose
Relief of pain and inflammation in arthritis with reduction of NSAID-associated gastric ulcer risk when prescribed.
Ingredients
Esomeprazole 20mg (delayed-release) and naproxen 500mg per tablet.
Warnings
Increased risk of GI and cardiovascular events. Take with food. Do not use if allergic to NSAIDs or aspirin. Report signs of bleeding or heart problems.
Side Effects
Nausea, heartburn, abdominal pain, headache. Risk of GI bleeding and cardiovascular events. Report black stools, chest pain, or swelling.
Storage Instructions
Store below 25°C in a dry place. Keep in original pack; protect from moisture.
