Esomeprazole 20mg capsules for acid reflux and peptic ulcers.
Estic 20mg contains esomeprazole, a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that reduces stomach acid production. Used for GERD, erosive esophagitis, peptic ulcers, H. pylori eradication (with other drugs), and Zollinger-Ellison syndrome. Manufactured by Axis Pharmaceuticals; pack of 14 gastro-resistant capsules.
Purpose
Treatment of GERD, erosive esophagitis, peptic ulcer disease, and acid-related conditions.
Ingredients
Esomeprazole (as magnesium) 20mg per capsule.
Warnings
Swallow capsules whole. Long-term PPI use may increase risk of fractures and low magnesium. Report muscle cramps or irregular heartbeat.
Side Effects
Headache, nausea, abdominal pain, flatulence. Long-term use may be associated with fracture risk and hypomagnesemia.
Storage Instructions
Store below 25°C in a dry place. Keep in original blister until use.
