Evofix (400mg) 10 Capsules contains cefixime 400mg, a cephalosporin antibiotic for bacterial infections (e.g. urinary tract, respiratory). Take as directed; complete the full course.
Purpose
Treatment of bacterial infections (e.g. urinary tract, respiratory, ear) when susceptible organisms are identified or presumed.
Ingredients
Cefixime (as trihydrate) 400mg per capsule; 10 capsules.
Warnings
Prescription only. Do not use if allergic to cephalosporins or penicillins. Complete full course. Report severe diarrhoea or rash.
Side Effects
Diarrhoea, nausea, abdominal pain, rash. Rare: allergic reactions, pseudomembranous colitis. Report severe diarrhoea or rash.
