Famot contains Famotidine 20mg, an H2 blocker that reduces stomach acid. It is used for peptic ulcers, reflux, and Zollinger-Ellison syndrome.

Peptic ulcer, prevention of ulcer recurrence, Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, mild reflux oesophagitis and heartburn.

Dose adjustment in renal impairment. Not for minor, transient symptoms. Prescription only.

Headache, dizziness, constipation, diarrhoea. Rare: confusion, rash.
