Esomeprazole 40mg tablets for acid reflux and ulcers.
Fasteso (40mg) 14 Tablets contains esomeprazole, a proton pump inhibitor for GERD, erosive esophagitis, and peptic ulcers. The 40mg strength is for once or twice daily dosing. Take before meals as directed.
Purpose
Treatment of gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GERD), erosive esophagitis, peptic ulcer disease, and as part of H. pylori eradication.
Ingredients
Esomeprazole 40mg (as magnesium or equivalent) per tablet.
Warnings
Not for immediate relief of heartburn. Report persistent diarrhoea or signs of hypomagnesaemia.
Side Effects
Headache, diarrhoea, abdominal pain, nausea. Long-term use may be associated with hypomagnesaemia. Report muscle cramps or irregular heartbeat.
Storage Instructions
Store below 25°C in a dry place. Keep in original pack; protect from moisture.
