Ferulin Inj 70/30 100IU is a premixed insulin formulation (70% intermediate-acting, 30% short-acting) for diabetes. Used for glycaemic control in type 1 and type 2 diabetes. Administer by subcutaneous injection as directed; store unopened in refrigerator.

Purpose

Treatment of diabetes mellitus requiring insulin therapy (type 1 and type 2).

Ingredients

Human insulin (70% NPH, 30% regular) 100 IU/ml.

Warnings

Prescription only. Risk of hypoglycaemia. Do not switch brands without medical advice. Rotate injection sites. Not for intravenous use. Keep out of reach of children.

Side Effects

Hypoglycaemia, injection site reactions, weight gain, oedema. Allergic reactions rare. Report severe hypoglycaemia or rash.

Storage Instructions

Unopened: store in refrigerator (2–8°C); do not freeze. In use: may be kept at room temperature for a limited period as per pack. Protect from direct heat and light.
