Forhef 49/51mg is a combined oral contraceptive containing ethinylestradiol and a progestogen (49/51 may be cycle phase or formulation code). Used for contraception. Take once daily at the same time; follow pack instructions.
Purpose
Oral contraception; treatment of menstrual disorders when prescribed.
Ingredients
Ethinylestradiol and progestogen; strengths as per pack.
Warnings
Contraindicated in thromboembolic disease and undiagnosed vaginal bleeding. Increased risk of thrombosis. Do not use in pregnancy.
Side Effects
Nausea, headache, breast tenderness, mood changes, breakthrough bleeding. Thromboembolic risk. Report leg pain, chest pain, or sudden severe headache.
Storage Instructions
Store below 25°C in a dry place. Keep in original pack; protect from moisture.
