Fusidic acid and steroid ointment 15g for infected eczema.
Fucort (20mg) 15g Ointment contains fusidic acid and hydrocortisone (or betamethasone) for infected inflammatory skin conditions. Antibiotic plus steroid. Apply as directed; for external use only.
Purpose
Treatment of bacterial skin infections with inflammatory component (e.g. infected eczema) when susceptible organisms are present.
Ingredients
Fusidic acid 20mg/g and hydrocortisone or betamethasone (strength as per pack); 15g ointment.
Warnings
For external use only. Do not use long-term or on face without medical advice. Discontinue if infection worsens. Resistance may develop with inappropriate use.
Side Effects
Local irritation, thinning of skin with prolonged use. Report worsening infection, rash, or lack of improvement.
Storage Instructions
Store below 25°C. Keep tube tightly closed. Keep out of reach of children.
