Gabapentin 100mg capsules for seizures and neuropathic pain.
Gabapil (100mg) contains gabapentin, an antiepileptic and analgesic that modulates calcium channels. It is used for partial seizures, neuropathic pain, and postherpetic neuralgia. The 100mg strength allows flexible dosing and titration.
Purpose
Adjunctive treatment of partial seizures; treatment of neuropathic pain and postherpetic neuralgia when prescribed.
Ingredients
Gabapentin 100mg per capsule.
Warnings
Do not stop suddenly; taper under medical supervision. May cause dizziness and drowsiness; avoid driving until effect is known. Report suicidal thoughts or behaviour.
Side Effects
Dizziness, somnolence, ataxia, peripheral oedema, weight gain. May affect concentration and driving. Report mood changes or swelling.
