Gemi 320mg Tab 7s contains gemifloxacin 320mg, a fluoroquinolone antibiotic for bacterial respiratory infections (e.g. acute bronchitis, community-acquired pneumonia). Take as directed; complete the full course.
Purpose
Treatment of acute bacterial exacerbation of chronic bronchitis and community-acquired pneumonia when susceptible organisms are identified or presumed.
Ingredients
Gemifloxacin (as mesylate) 320mg per tablet; 7 tablets.
Warnings
Prescription only. Avoid in pregnancy. May cause tendon damage; report tendon pain. Avoid excessive sun exposure. Complete full course.
Side Effects
Rash, diarrhoea, nausea, headache. Rare: tendonitis, QT prolongation, hypersensitivity. Report rash, tendon pain, or palpitations.
