Levofloxacin 250mg tablets for bacterial infections.
Genthro (250mg) 6s Tablets contains levofloxacin, a fluoroquinolone antibiotic for bacterial infections. The 250mg strength may be for twice daily or short course. Take as directed; complete the full course. Avoid prolonged sun exposure.
Purpose
Treatment of susceptible bacterial infections (respiratory, urinary, skin, etc.) when prescribed.
Ingredients
Levofloxacin 250mg (as hemihydrate) per tablet.
Warnings
Risk of tendonitis and tendon rupture; report tendon pain. Avoid prolonged sun exposure. Caution in QT prolongation and myasthenia gravis. Not for viral infections.
Side Effects
Nausea, diarrhoea, headache, photosensitivity. Rare: tendon damage, CNS effects, QT prolongation. Report tendon pain, confusion, or irregular heartbeat.
