Glem Lin Mxr 10/5/1000 is a triple-combination medication for type 2 diabetes. It contains empagliflozin (SGLT2 inhibitor), linagliptin (DPP-4 inhibitor), and metformin hydrochloride extended-release. These three agents work through different mechanisms to improve glycemic control by increasing urinary glucose excretion, enhancing insulin secretion, and reducing hepatic glucose production.
Purpose
Glycemic control in adults with type 2 diabetes when diet and exercise are insufficient.

Warnings
Lactic acidosis is a rare but serious complication. Contraindicated in severe kidney disease. Discontinue before certain imaging procedures.
Side Effects
Urinary tract infections, yeast infections, diarrhea, and nausea. Risk of lactic acidosis due to metformin.
