Glimet (1.25/250mg) 30 Tablets contain glimepiride 1.25mg and metformin 250mg for type 2 diabetes as prescribed. Take as directed; usually one or two tablets once or twice daily with meals. Prescription only.

Purpose

Treatment of type 2 diabetes when prescribed.

Glimepiride 1.25mg, metformin 250mg per tablet; 30 tablets.

Warnings

Prescription only. Risk of hypoglycaemia. Do not use in severe kidney impairment unless advised.

Side Effects

Hypoglycaemia, GI upset possible. Report lactic acidosis symptoms or allergic reaction.
