Glip (4mg) 20 Tablets
Glimepiride 4mg tablets for type 2 diabetes.
Glip (4mg) 20 Tablets contains glimepiride, a sulphonylurea for type 2 diabetes. The 4mg strength is for once-daily dosing with breakfast or first main meal. Take as directed; do not skip meals. Risk of hypoglycaemia.
Purpose
Treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus as adjunct to diet and exercise when prescribed.
Ingredients
Glimepiride 4mg per tablet.
Warnings
Risk of hypoglycaemia; carry fast-acting sugar. Do not skip meals. Contraindicated in severe renal impairment and diabetic ketoacidosis. Not for type 1 diabetes. Avoid excessive alcohol.
Side Effects
Hypoglycaemia, nausea, dizziness, weight gain. Rare: hyponatraemia, allergic reactions. Report symptoms of low blood sugar or rash.
Storage Instructions
Store below 25°C in a dry place. Keep in original pack; protect from moisture.
