Glimepiride 1mg tablets for blood sugar control in type 2 diabetes.
Gluconorm 1mg contains glimepiride, a sulfonylurea class antidiabetic agent. It lowers blood sugar by stimulating the release of insulin from the functioning beta cells in the pancreas. It is used as an adjunct to diet and exercise to improve glycemic control in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus.
