Miglitol 4mg tablets 20s for type 2 diabetes.
Glyset (4mg) 20 Tablets contain miglitol 4mg (alpha-glucosidase inhibitor) for type 2 diabetes as an adjunct to diet and exercise. Take as directed; usually at the start of each main meal. Do not exceed recommended dose.
Purpose
Adjunct treatment of type 2 diabetes when used with diet and exercise.
Ingredients
Miglitol 4mg per tablet; 20 tablets.
Warnings
Prescription only. Take with meals. Not for type 1 diabetes or diabetic ketoacidosis. Report severe stomach upset. Not for use in severe kidney impairment.
Side Effects
Flatulence, diarrhoea, stomach upset. Report severe abdominal pain or allergic reaction.
Storage Instructions
Store below 25°C in a dry place. Keep in original pack. Keep out of reach of children.
