Clopidogrel 75mg capsules for prevention of heart attack and stroke.
Hilin 75mg contains clopidogrel, an antiplatelet medicine that irreversibly inhibits the P2Y12 ADP receptor on platelets, reducing clot formation. It is used to prevent heart attacks and strokes in patients with acute coronary syndrome, prior MI, stroke, or peripheral arterial disease. Often used with aspirin where indicated. Purpose
Prevention of atherothrombotic events in patients with ACS, prior MI, stroke, or peripheral arterial disease.
Ingredients
Clopidogrel (as bisulphate) 75mg per capsule.
Warnings
Increases bleeding risk. Do not use in active bleeding or severe liver impairment. Tell your doctor before surgery or if taking other blood thinners.
Side Effects
Bleeding, bruising, diarrhea, rash. Serious bleeding may occur; report unusual bleeding or signs of stroke.
