Sodium cromoglicate eye drops relieve the symptoms of allergic conjunctivitis by reducing the release of a chemical called histamine which causes inflammation. Tetrahydrozoline is a decongestant used to relieve redness in the eyes caused by minor eye irritations (such as smog, swimming, dust, or smoke). It belongs to a class of drugs known as sympathomimetic amines. It works by temporarily narrowing the blood vessels in the eye.

Warnings
All eye drops can cause a short-term blurring of vision when first used so you is advised to wait until your eyes are clear before driving or using machines.
If you wear soft contact lenses. Avoid use the drops while your contact lenses are in your eyes. Wait 10 -15 minutes after using the eye drops before putting your lenses back into your eyes.
If you experience drowsiness, dizziness, hypotension or a headache as side-effects when using the eye drop medicine then it may not be safe to drive a vehicle or operate heavy machinery.
Side Effects
Stinging/redness in the eye, widened pupils, or blurred vision may occur. If any of these effects persist or worsen, tell your doctor or pharmacist promptly .
