Influvac Tetra Vaccine
Quadrivalent inactivated influenza vaccine for seasonal flu prevention.
Influvac Tetra Vaccine is a quadrivalent inactivated influenza vaccine (two A and two B strains) for prevention of seasonal flu in adults and children. Administer before or during flu season as per national recommendations. Store in refrigerator.
Purpose
Prophylaxis of influenza caused by the virus strains contained in the vaccine in adults and children from 6 months of age.
Ingredients
Inactivated influenza virus (split virion), quadrivalent; strains as per WHO recommendation for the season.
Warnings
Prescription only. Not for use in severe allergic reaction to previous flu vaccine or egg. Report allergic reaction. Not a substitute for annual vaccination as strains change.
Side Effects
Injection site pain, redness, swelling; fever, headache, fatigue. Allergic reactions rare. Report severe allergic reaction or high fever.
Storage Instructions
Store in refrigerator (2–8°C). Do not freeze. Protect from light. Use within period stated after opening. Keep out of reach of children.
