Isozam (10mg) 10 Capsules
Isosorbide mononitrate 10mg capsules for prevention of angina attacks.
Isozam 10mg contains isosorbide mononitrate, a long-acting nitrate that dilates veins and arteries to reduce cardiac preload and afterload. It is used for the prophylaxis of angina pectoris in patients with coronary artery disease. The 10mg strength is suitable for once- or twice-daily dosing as prescribed.
Purpose
Prophylactic treatment of angina pectoris in patients with stable coronary artery disease.
Ingredients
Isosorbide mononitrate 10mg per capsule.
Warnings
Contraindicated in severe hypotension, shock, and with phosphodiesterase-5 inhibitors (e.g. sildenafil). Do not use for acute angina; use short-acting nitrate for attacks. Caution in aortic stenosis and hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.
Side Effects
Headache, dizziness, flushing, hypotension, reflex tachycardia. Tolerance may develop with continuous use; dose schedule should follow prescribing advice.

Store below 25°C in a dry place. Keep in original container; protect from light and moisture.
