Sitagliptin and metformin 50/850mg for type 2 diabetes.
Itaglip Plus (50/850mg) Tab combines sitagliptin 50mg and metformin 850mg for type 2 diabetes. Take as directed with meals. Prescription only. Risk of hypoglycaemia if combined with other antidiabetics.
Purpose
Treatment of type 2 diabetes when combination therapy is indicated.
Ingredients
Sitagliptin 50mg and metformin hydrochloride 850mg per tablet; tablets.
Warnings
Prescription only. Avoid alcohol. Report signs of lactic acidosis. Not for type 1 diabetes.
Side Effects
GI upset, hypoglycaemia. Rare: lactic acidosis, pancreatitis. Report severe abdominal pain or persistent nausea.
Storage Instructions
Store below 25°C in a dry place. Keep in original pack; protect from moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
