Itaglip Plus XR combines Sitagliptin 50mg (DPP-4 inhibitor) and Metformin 500mg extended-release for type 2 diabetes.

Type 2 diabetes with diet and exercise when dual therapy is indicated.

Sitagliptin Phosphate 50mg, Metformin Hydrochloride 500mg (extended-release)

Not for type 1 diabetes or DKA. Lactic acidosis risk. Avoid if eGFR below 30. Prescription only.

Hypoglycaemia (with sulphonylurea), GI effects, nasopharyngitis. Rare: lactic acidosis.

Store below 30°C. Keep in original pack.
