Iveuromet Sl 2000mg Tab 30s
Metformin sustained-release 2000mg for type 2 diabetes.
Iveuromet Sl 2000mg Tab contains metformin in sustained-release formulation for type 2 diabetes. The 2000mg strength may be total daily dose or per tablet; typical SR doses are 500–2000mg daily. Take as directed with meals; swallow whole.
Purpose
Treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus as adjunct to diet and exercise.
Ingredients
Metformin hydrochloride 2000mg (sustained-release) per tablet (or equivalent as per pack).
Warnings
Contraindicated in severe renal impairment and diabetic ketoacidosis. Not for type 1 diabetes. Risk of lactic acidosis.
Side Effects
Nausea, diarrhoea, abdominal discomfort, metallic taste. Rare: lactic acidosis. Report unexplained muscle pain or breathing difficulty.
Storage Instructions
Store below 30°C in a dry place. Keep in original pack; protect from moisture.
