Jardy Met (12.5/850mg) 14 Tablets combine dapagliflozin (SGLT2 inhibitor) 12.5mg and metformin 850mg for type 2 diabetes when dual therapy is needed. Take with meals; do not crush or chew.

Purpose

Treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus in adults when diet and exercise plus single therapy do not achieve adequate glycaemic control.

Ingredients

Dapagliflozin 12.5mg and metformin hydrochloride 850mg per tablet.

Warnings

Contraindicated in severe renal impairment and diabetic ketoacidosis. Not for type 1 diabetes. Risk of genital and urinary infections. Assess renal function periodically. Not for use in pregnancy or breastfeeding without advice.

Side Effects

Nausea, diarrhoea, urinary tract infections, genital mycotic infections. Lactic acidosis (rare) with metformin. Report unusual tiredness, abdominal pain, or genital/urinary symptoms.
