Kinz 10mg Inj is a vitamin K (phytomenadione) injection used for the prevention and treatment of vitamin K deficiency bleeding, including in newborns. Administered by healthcare professional by intramuscular or slow intravenous route.
Purpose
Prevention and treatment of vitamin K deficiency bleeding; reversal of warfarin-induced anticoagulation when prescribed.
Ingredients
Phytomenadione (vitamin K1) 10mg per ampoule or vial.
Warnings
Administer only by trained personnel. Have adrenaline available for anaphylaxis. Protect from light until use.
Side Effects
Injection-site pain, allergic reactions. Rare: anaphylaxis. Report rash, swelling, or breathing difficulty.
