Lamotrigine 5mg tablets for epilepsy and bipolar disorder.
Lame (5mg) 30 Tablets contains lamotrigine, an anticonvulsant and mood stabiliser for epilepsy and bipolar disorder. The 5mg strength is for initiation or titration. Take as directed; do not stop abruptly. Risk of serious skin reactions.
Purpose
Treatment of epilepsy (partial and generalised seizures); maintenance treatment of bipolar I disorder when prescribed.
Ingredients
Lamotrigine 5mg per tablet.
Warnings
Risk of serious skin reactions; report any rash immediately. Do not stop abruptly. Titrate slowly. Caution with valproate (interaction). Avoid in pregnancy unless benefit outweighs risk.
Side Effects
Headache, dizziness, rash, insomnia. Rare: serious skin reactions (Stevens-Johnson). Report rash, fever, or mouth ulcers immediately.
Storage Instructions
Store below 30°C in a dry place. Keep in original pack; protect from moisture.
