Lantus Vial 10Ml contains insulin glargine 100 units/ml, a long-acting insulin for diabetes. Inject once daily as directed. Refrigerate until first use; then may be kept at room temperature.

Purpose

Treatment of diabetes mellitus when insulin therapy is indicated.

Ingredients

Insulin glargine 100 units/ml; 10ml vial.

Warnings

Prescription only. Risk of hypoglycaemia. Rotate injection sites. Do not share vials. Refrigerate until first use.

Side Effects

Hypoglycaemia, injection site reaction, weight gain. Rare: allergic reaction. Report signs of low blood sugar or severe reaction.

Storage Instructions

Store unopened vial in refrigerator (2–8°C). Do not freeze. After first use, may be kept at room temperature for up to 28 days. Keep out of reach of children.
