Lina 5mg Tab
Linagliptin 5mg tablets for type 2 diabetes.
Lina 5mg contains linagliptin, a DPP-4 inhibitor that increases incretin hormones (GLP-1 and GIP), stimulating glucose-dependent insulin release and reducing glucagon. Used for type 2 diabetes as monotherapy or with metformin, sulphonylureas, or insulin. No dose adjustment needed for renal or hepatic impairment. One tablet once daily.
Purpose
Treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus as monotherapy or in combination with other antidiabetic agents.
Ingredients
Linagliptin 5mg per tablet.
Warnings
Not for type 1 diabetes or diabetic ketoacidosis. Monitor for signs of pancreatitis. Caution with sulphonylureas or insulin (hypoglycemia risk).
Side Effects
Nasal congestion, sore throat, cough. Hypoglycemia when used with insulin or sulphonylureas. Rare: pancreatitis, angioedema.
Storage Instructions
Store below 25°C in a dry place. Protect from moisture.
