Lincocin 300mg Inj contains lincomycin, an antibiotic for serious bacterial infections when other antibiotics are not suitable. For intramuscular or intravenous use only. Administer only as directed by a healthcare professional.
Purpose
Treatment of serious bacterial infections when penicillin or other antibiotics are not suitable when prescribed.
Ingredients
Lincomycin hydrochloride 300mg per ml (or as per vial).
Warnings
For use under medical supervision. Report severe diarrhoea (pseudomembranous colitis). Not for viral infections. Complete the full course.
Side Effects
Diarrhoea, nausea, injection-site reactions. Rare: pseudomembranous colitis, allergic reactions. Report severe diarrhoea or rash.
Storage Instructions
Store as per pack. Protect from light. Do not freeze. Use within period after reconstitution. Keep out of reach of children.
