Lipitor (10mg) 10 Tablets
Atorvastatin 10mg tablets for high cholesterol.
Lipitor (10mg) 10 Tablets contains atorvastatin, an HMG-CoA reductase inhibitor for high cholesterol. The 10mg strength is for initiation or maintenance. Take at any time of day; may be taken with or without food.
Purpose
Treatment of hypercholesterolaemia and mixed dyslipidaemia; reduction of cardiovascular risk in indicated patients.
Ingredients
Atorvastatin calcium equivalent to 10mg atorvastatin per tablet.
Warnings
Contraindicated in active liver disease and pregnancy. Caution with fibrates. Report muscle symptoms or signs of liver dysfunction.
Side Effects
Headache, myalgia, arthralgia, diarrhoea, nausea. Rare: myopathy, rhabdomyolysis. Report unexplained muscle pain or weakness.
Storage Instructions
Store below 25°C in a dry place. Keep in original pack; protect from light and moisture.
