Lodopin V 10/160mg
Valsartan 160mg and Amlodipine 10mg for hypertension.
Lodopin V 10/160mg is a fixed-dose combination of valsartan 160mg (angiotensin II receptor blocker) and amlodipine 10mg (calcium channel blocker). Both lower blood pressure by relaxing blood vessels. Used for hypertension when single-agent therapy is insufficient. Take once daily.
Purpose
Treatment of hypertension in adults.
Ingredients
Valsartan 160mg and Amlodipine (as besylate) 10mg per tablet.
Warnings
Contraindicated in pregnancy. Caution in renal impairment, hyperkalemia, aortic stenosis. Do not stop abruptly.
Side Effects
Dizziness, edema, headache, flushing, fatigue. May cause hypotension or hyperkalemia.
