Clobetasol and antifungal cream 15g for inflamed fungal skin infections.
Lotricort (0.05/1%) 15g Cream combines clobetasol (corticosteroid) 0.05% with an antifungal (e.g. clotrimazole 1%) for inflamed fungal skin infections. Use for short-term; apply thinly as directed.
Purpose
Short-term treatment of inflamed fungal skin infections (e.g. tinea with inflammation) when combination therapy is appropriate.
Ingredients
Clobetasol propionate 0.05% and clotrimazole (or similar antifungal) 1% w/w.
Warnings
Potent steroid. Short-term use only. Do not use on face or under occlusion without advice. Not for use in rosacea or untreated bacterial/viral infections.
Side Effects
Local thinning, striae, burning. Systemic absorption with prolonged use. Report skin thinning or worsening.
Storage Instructions
Store below 25°C. Keep tube tightly closed. Keep out of reach of children.
