Lurisa 40mg Tab
Rosuvastatin 40mg and Esomeprazole 40mg for cholesterol and acid reflux.
Lurisa 40mg is a combination tablet containing rosuvastatin 40mg (statin) and esomeprazole 40mg (proton pump inhibitor). Rosuvastatin lowers LDL cholesterol and triglycerides; esomeprazole reduces stomach acid and may protect against GI effects. Used for hypercholesterolemia with a need for acid suppression. Manufactured by Helix Pharma.
Purpose
Treatment of hypercholesterolemia with concomitant gastric acid reduction or GERD.
Ingredients
Rosuvastatin (as calcium) 40mg and Esomeprazole (as magnesium) 40mg per tablet.
Warnings
Report unexplained muscle pain or weakness. Not for use during pregnancy. Swallow whole. Caution in Asian patients with 40mg rosuvastatin.
Side Effects
Headache, muscle aches, nausea, abdominal pain, constipation. Report unexplained muscle pain.
