Macpram 5mg Tab
Macrogol (PEG) laxative for constipation.
Macpram 5mg contains macrogol (polyethylene glycol), an osmotic laxative for constipation. The 5mg may refer to 5g sachet; typical dose is one sachet daily. Dissolve in water and drink as directed.
Purpose
Treatment of occasional constipation and maintenance of regularity when dietary measures are insufficient.
Ingredients
Macrogol (polyethylene glycol); strength as per pack (e.g. 5g or 10g per sachet).
Warnings
Do not use if intestinal obstruction or perforation suspected. Consult a doctor if constipation persists. Ensure adequate fluid intake.
Side Effects
Abdominal discomfort, bloating, diarrhoea. Generally well-tolerated. Report severe abdominal pain or persistent diarrhoea.
Storage Instructions
Store below 25°C in a dry place. Keep sachets in original pack; protect from moisture.
